Today we travelled to London to compete at the Bridge Triathlon in Dartford.
It was a very hot day but the races went off early so it wasn’t too bad.
The swim was in a lake and was refreshingly cool but it’s a very short transition so I didn’t have much chance to get my wetsuit to my waist.
The bike course was on a stretch of closed road and the run was on the path. It was a spectator friendly course with multiple laps passing family and friends to cheer you on.
I found the run the hardest because it was later in the day which meant it was hotter.
It was a good day with several London clubs racing and it was one of the T3 IRC qualifiers.
