Beachborough Triathlon had another good turnout this weekend, this time in the 3rd event of the South Central Series. Located down in Hamble, on the south coast, this was a well orgranised and fun event.
As it was an Aquathlon the two disciplines were slightly longer than those in triathlon events. The pool was small, so this also meant more laps & turns! However, the children came out with some good swim times. The run course was well marked out with a slight incline, following a zig zap course around the field.
Hannah achieved her 2nd Aquathlon win of the season, and she also managed the fastest swim time in Tristar 2 overall. Charlotte was hot on Hannah’s heels and came 2nd, with a good solid race as always. Sam is proving that consistent training pays off as he is consistently in the top 3 placings for his age group.
Well done to all who made the effort to travel down on this beautiful bank holiday Monday. Hope you all manage to visit the seaside whilst you were there!
